Jared was born and raised in Northern Colorado. He lived on the 4th hole of the local course and spent as much time practicing and playing as he could. As a junior golfer, Jared excelled in winning numerous junior events. In the fall of 2003, Jared began college at Grand Canyon University in central Phoenix. He was a 4 year Letterman on the team and graduated with majors in Secondary Education and History. In 2008, Jared moved full time to Phoenix and began working as an assistant pro at Golf Club of Estrella. Jared quickly began to realize that he wanted to coach full time. Today, Jared works at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear and has created a junior program that is leading the way in junior development in the west valley.
